Covid-19 Update for our NJ policyholders
Dear Policyholder:

Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Company understands that coronavirus (COVID-19) may be causing anxiety and fear. Our priority is the safety of our customers and the community. For our policyholders who are not able to make a payment due to the difficulties related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we want you to know that we're here to help support you.


We have implemented the following for all customers. You don't need to contact us to take advantage of these benefits:
  • We are giving 90 days grace period for premium payment from April 1, 2020.
  • We do not charge late payment fees.
  • We will not be reporting debt accrued during this COVID-19 crisis to credit reporting agencies.


If you need further assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please contact us and we will:
  • Extend the suspension of non-payment cancellation notices for 90 days from May 1, 2020. Your policy will not be cancelled for non-payment of premium though, the amount due will continue to accrue.
  • Allow premiums due but not paid during the 90 days period to be paid over the remainder of the policy term of a period of up to 12 months.
